Oaths, Sign & Sacrifices: Marriage
For many people today, marriage is just a cultural tradition- something they enter into simply because it's what people always have done. It's expected. For others, it is an "instutuion" of the government. For still others, it is nthing more than a legal arrangement, like a business partnership which specifies rights, responsibilities and "our clauses." In God's eyes, however, marriage is much more than any of the common understandings. In reality, God created marriage to be a "Covenant." In this nation, we have turned what God views as a convenant- something Sacred, Spiritual and Holy -into some sort of contract. This confusion about what marriage really is goes a long way toward explaining why so many marriages are in such a mess. Covenant- It is a solemn agreement that binds parties together in a permanent, defined relationship.
It is a fact, that divorce is at an all time high as never before in History. People are just throwing there Marriages away today like they are nothing, and like there Marriage Vows meant nothing. "I marry you, Until I don't want to be anymore, or until it becomes too dificult, or until you cramp my style" It's CrAzY, and needs to stop and has to stop! God Bless All.
