Delhi - The National Capital
Delhi, a well known place in India as it is the capital which is
located in the northern and central India. The river that flows in
Delhi is Yamuna river. Delhi has religious places as well as historical
places to visit. New Delhi you can visit Rashtrapati Bhawan, India
Gate, Laxminarayan Temple, Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar , Red Fort,
Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat, Shanti Vana and other places. Best season to
visit Delhi is the time between October-November or February-March.
Jaipur - The Pink City
One of the beautiful place that has historical values and full of
culture is Jaipur, also known as pink city of India. Jaipur is the
capital of Rajasthan has been the throttlehold of a tribe leader whose
three hill forts and a various palaces in Jaipur are the main point of
attractions. It is called as pink city because the stone that is used
to make walls of fort was pink in colour. In Jaipur you can get
embroidered leather shoes, tie and dye scarves and other beautiful hand
made things. Western Rajasthan covers the desert part called as Thar
Desert of India.
Hill station Kullu and Manali
Manali is a beautiful small hill station located in the Kullu
valley. Manali is in Himachal Pradesh derived its name from Manavalaya
i.e. the abode of Manu. Whilw traveling Kullu and Manali you can
experience the local color and beauty in Kullu-Manali's temples, quaint
villages and the vibrant and festive mood of the people and their
colorful clothes and handicrafts. Manali is all time favourite tourist
destination.
