I have always wondered what is beyond the edge of the universe. It seems to me that one of two things must be true;
1) space is not infinite and there really is such a thing as nothing (& I mean absolutely nothing... no matter, no energy, no space and no time) for our universe to exist "in".
2) the actual 'real' universe is so much more complex and bizarre than we can percieve with our pathetically inadequate 3-dimensional senses, that we are trying to answer a question with very little to go on.
Is it just me or do other people feel the same way?
