Blogging

Start your own blog on MindDeposit, and let others know what’s on your mind. Let your thoughts, opinions and ideas flow. Then see what response you get when you dialogue with a new and broader audience.

Calendar

Use the calendar to schedule events – a lunch, gathering, or social meeting, etc. Use it to schedule reminders. Whatever the purpose – remembering a birthday or keeping yourself on track to reach an important personal goal – it’s about achieving objectives. If it’s not time-bound and specific, it’s just wishful thinking.

Chat

Use instant messaging to chat with a friend or join a group discussion real-time. Go to the “Chat” section under “Discuss” in the toolbar to see who is currently online. MindDeposit is about learning and sharing, so use chat to make and keep the connection going with frequent communication.

Discussions

Participate in discussions to test and refine your opinions, learn from others, and maybe even change your point of view. You can start or join a discussion on any topic of interest. Discussions are open forums, so anyone can participate.

Email

With MindDeposit’s messaging functionality, users can compose and send a private message to another MindDeposit member to be delivered by email. It gives you another way to communicate.

Events

Whatever the occasion, use MindDeposit’s events functionality if you want to invite others to join you, even if it’s just lunch for two. Integrated with the calendar and messaging, Events enables you to schedule the event, invite participants (MindDeposit members and non-members) and keep track of who’s replied and who’s coming.

Groups

Be part of a group with other MindDeposit members who share a common interest. Check out the active groups, and join the ones that interest you. You can create your own, too. Take your ongoing discussions with your friends online for easy access and participation. Or expand your reach by opening the group to all MindDeposit members.

Mind Manager

Mind Manager helps you organize your thoughts and ideas, because just like organizing your home or office, it’s critical to accomplishing your goals. Creative chaos has its place, but ultimately you need some method of organization, if you want to get from point A to point B before it’s too late.

With Mind Manager, you can easily locate, review, edit, and reorganize your entries. You can also combine a number of separate entries into a MindDeposit book. It can be the start of a real book, or maybe a project or travelogue, with each chapter representing a different piece of the whole.

Online Journal

Record your thoughts about life, relationships, current events, or just rant about that leaky faucet that defies fixing. Use MindDeposit to create an online journal and touch on everything from the earth shattering to the mundane. Categorize your entries, and organize them into mini-journals based on the subject and other criteria.

Photos

Add a visual component to your blog entries or your online journal by including photos.

Questions

Every answer starts with a question, so use the “Questions” section to open up your questions to the MindDeposit audience.

Social Networking

Connect with new people. Use the exponential power of the social network and the speed of the Internet. Six degrees of separation -- it’s more than just a movie and a game involving Kevin Bacon. It’s a theory that continues to be proven. The more members of your personal network that you and others invite to join MindDeposit, the greater the possibilities for online connections
