Is there a cost to use MindDeposit?

It’s free to use MindDeposit.

How do I register?

1. On the MindDeposit home page, click Step One to go to the registration page.

2. Enter your name, the user name you want to display on MindDeposit, e-mail address, country, zip code and a password.

3. A message confirming your registration will be sent to your e-mail address.

4. Don’t forget to set up your profile once you’ve successfully registered.

How do I retrieve my password if I’ve forgotten it?

1. Click Help on the MindDeposit toolbar.

2. Click Lost Password.

3. Enter your e-mail address (the e-mail you used to register on MindDeposit).

4. Click OK.

5. An e-mail containing your password will arrive in your e-mail inbox shortly.

How do I create a group?

1. Click My Space on the MindDeposit toolbar

2. Click My Groups.

3. Click the Create New Group tab.

4. Fill out the form to indicate the group name, parameters for membership and use, and a description.

5. After creating the group, you can access it via the My Groups tab.

How do I join a group?

1. Click Discuss on the MindDeposit toolbar.

2. Click Groups.

3. Click a category to see all active groups.

4. Click a group that interests you.

5. Click View to learn more about the group.

6. Click Join to become a member of the group.

7. After joining a group, you can access it via the My Groups tab.

How do I upload a photo?

1. Click My Space on the MindDeposit toolbar.

2. Click My Photos.

3. Click the Upload Photo tab.

4. Click the Browse button.

5. Locate the photo on your Computer.

6. Double-click the file to add the photo to MindDeposit.

7. Click Save.

How many photos can I upload?

Will “private” blog posts be indexed by the search engines?

Your "private" posts and "friends only" posts will not be found on search engines. Your public posts will be crawled by seach engines such as Yahoo, Google, MSN, etc.

What’s a watch list? How do I add someone to my watch list?

Your watch list is a list of people who you enjoy reading or participating in their posts, but are not their friend yet. By adding people to your watch list, you can easiliy find them whenever you want. This does not require approval. To add a member to the watch list, under each member's profile, use the link under the member's main photo.
